Check-in time for a Western Australian hotel art collection

Hotel art collections can be as diverse and unique as the signature of the hospitality provided. Many hotels wish to consolidate and assess the condition of their artwork collections before acquiring new works, or selling existing pieces that no longer serve their brand ethos.

Our role

WRAP was engaged to assess, document, and consolidate the art collection of a luxury hotel complex. Our role encompassed a thorough audit of artworks across the property, evaluating their condition, placement, and other key details.

We created a comprehensive digital asset register, ensuring each artwork was accurately catalogued with imagery, descriptions, and supporting documentation. This register provides the client with a transparent, accessible record of their collection, forming the foundation for governance, insurance, and future collection management.

Through this process, we not only safeguarded the integrity of the collection but also established a clear framework for its ongoing care and presentation.

The result

The result is a professional record that strengthens the cultural value of the hotel’s art assets.
